After surviving our first snowstorm in our new home, we spent a couple more days in Cheyenne. The weather was sunny and the snow started melting; by Monday most of it was gone. Because of the snowstorm on Friday, some of the mail didn’t get to the post office in Cheyenne until Monday the 7th. Luckily our mail was in that batch, so after we picked it up we headed to one of the local credit unions to deposit the check we had been expecting. Our credit union back in Iowa has a list of affiliated credit unions on their website; we can stop in at any of these and either withdraw money from our account, or make deposits.
We picked up some groceries, and got our propane tank filled in case we ran into bad weather again, and decided to head to Colorado.
